C. T. WOOLLEY
Mr. C. T. Woolley, age 88 of Crockett, passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 in the Winfield Nursing Center in Crockett. Mr. Woolley was born November 13, 1919 in Crockett, Texas and was a resident of Crockett most of his lifetime. Mr. Woolley was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. Mr. Woolley was a member of the Lothrop Masonic Lodge #21 A.F. & A.M., the American Legion Post #134 and the V.F.W. Mr. Woolley was a retired carpenter and was also a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Kevin Woolley and Denise Squire, of Clarksville, Tenn.; grandson Austin Woolley, of Clarksville, Tenn.; granddaughter Megan Woolley, of Clarksville, Tenn.; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his wife Vera Woolley; and brothers Jimmy Woolley and Alan Woolley.
Funeral Services for Mr. C. T. Woolley were held Sunday, August 3, at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Charles Lowrey officiating. Interment followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Burn Institute.

ROMA STANSEL BENNETT
Mrs. Roma Stansel Bennett, age 92 of Crockett, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mrs. Bennett was born September 26, 1915 in Gilmer, Texas and had been living in Crockett for the past 2 years. Mrs. Bennett was a housewife and a member of the Grapeland Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sisters Frances Jarrett, of Crockett and Mildred Musick, of Waco; brother Garland Stansel and wife Melba, of Angleton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by her husband Ray E. Bennett; brothers Ollie Stansel, Leon Stansel and Elery Stansel; and sisters Jewel Bradshaw and Dell Patton.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Roma Stansel Bennett were held Thursday, August 7, at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Mr. Jim Edge and Mr. Bill Chandler officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
