Mr. Billy Martin Money, age 71 of Lovelady, passed away Saturday, August 09, 2008 in Woodland Heights Hospital in Lufkin. Mr. Money was born February 16, 1937 in the Flat Prairie Community and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Money was owner of Money Logging Company from 1965 to 1997 until his retirement when he became a rancher. Mr. Money was named Outstanding Logger in 1979 by the Texas Forestry Association. Mr. Money was a member of the Lovelady Masonic Lodge, past president of the Lovelady Lions, former Lovelady City Council Member and member of the Houston County Fair Association. 
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Norma Money, of Lovelady; son William Money, of Lovelady; daughter Necia Whidby and husband Stephen, of Little Elm; grandchildren Karson Money, of Lovelady, Garrett Guys, of San Antonio and Jason Whidby, of Little Elm; mother-in-law Ruth Shropshire, of Lovelady.
Preceded in death by his parents Bill and Ida Mae Money; grandparents Gus and Arneischa Money and Martin and Flora Moore; and father-in-law Norman Shropshire.
Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Martin Money were held Monday, August 11, at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Scott Matthews officiating.  Interment followed in the Flat Prairie Cemetery.

Mrs. Dorothy Jordan, age 91 of Kemah, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 in Kemah. Mrs. Jordan was born January 29, 1917 in Lovelady. Mrs. Jordan loved fishing at her favorite place on Lake Livingston and she spent countless hours with her needlepoint.
Survivors include her sisters Betty Lewis, of Houston, Nell Amy, of Crockett and Juanita Aguillard and husband Marshall, of Okeechobee, Fla.; two daughters Helen Ekstrom and Joyce Flanagan and husband Jim, all of Kemah; four grandchildren Ken Flanagan and wife Tereasa, of Hempstead, Janet Clark and husband Tim, of Santa Fe., Skipper Flanagan and wife Dana, of League City and Pam Hodgson and husband Jim, of Santa Fe.; eight great-grandchildren Jeannie, Christy, Timmy, Jimmy, Jessica, Jake, Reece and Max; one great-great-grandchild 8-month-old Cheyenne Nicole with Trent Lane arriving in November; and many friends who loved her dearly.
Preceded in death by her husband Dick Jordan; three sisters Lucille Bryant, Lavern Johnson an Addie Willingham; and one brother Charlie McCullar.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Jordan were held Saturday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m. in Trinity Funeral Home in Trinity. Interment followed in the Weldon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jim Hodgson, Jimmy Hodgson, Tim Clark, Timmy Clark, Ken Flanagan and Skipper Flanagan.

Mrs. Juanita Ruiz, age 54 of Crockett, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mrs. Ruiz was born July 13, 1954 in Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a resident of Crockett for the past 18 years. Mrs. Ruiz was a housewife and of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include her daughter Olga Ruiz and husband Fausto Ramirez M., of Crockett; son Ricardo Ruiz, of Crockett; granddaughters Tanya Ramirez and Pricilla Ramirez, both of Crockett; sisters Narcizo Raymundo Dominguez, Ramiro Raymundo Dominguez, Margarita Raymundo Dominguez, Ana Maria Raymundo Dominguez, Fructuoso Raymundo Dominguez, Raul Raymundo Dominguez, Maria De La Luz Raymundo Dominguez, Roberto Raymundo Dominguez, Alejandro Raymundo Dominguez and Gricelda Raymundo Dominguez; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by her husband Richardo Ruiz Gonzales.
Rosary Services for Mrs. Juanita Ruiz will begin at 7:00 p. m. Friday, August 15, in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Father Jose George officiating.

Mrs. Linnie Faye Cross, age 82, went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2008. Mrs. Cross was born November 8, 1925 in Grapeland to Almond Victor and Velma Whitaker Anderson.
Survivors include her nieces Catherine Walker, Katina Hauck, Chere Carter, Deanna Tew and Kristi Easter; one nephew Kevin Wooley; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Almond Victor and Velma Whitaker Anderson; and her husband Donald Cross in 1993. Funeral Services for Mrs. Linnie Faye Cross were held Wednesday, August 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Chapel with Dr. Charles Allen officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Mildred Pugh, age 87 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Pugh was born May 29, 1921 in Madison County, Texas and was a resident of Centerville for 48 years. Mrs. Pugh was a farmer and ranchers wife and attended the New Salem Baptist Church in the New Salem Community. 
Survivors include her daughters Wanda Manning and husband Mac, of Leona and Sue Burke and husband Ken, of Crockett; sister Laverne McVey, of Huntsville; and numerous other relatives.
Preceded in death by her husband J. E. “Deb” Pugh; and sister Ruth Sigford.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Pugh were held Friday, August 15, at 10:00 a. m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Billy Gunnels officiating. Interment followed in the Midway Cemetery.
