EVADENE JOAN REYNOLDS
Mrs. Evadene Joan Reynolds, age 69 of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in the East Texas Medical Center-Tyler. Mrs. Reynolds was born October 7, 1939 in Elk City, Oklahoma and was a resident of Centerville for the past 27 years. She retired from Texaco after twenty years of service and was a member of the North Creek Baptist Church in Centerville.

Survivors include her husband E.O. Reynolds, of Centerville; daughters Kathy Scott and husband Ray, of San Marcos and Joan West and husband George, of San Antonio; step-son Dale Reynolds, of Austin; step-daughters Royann Sweat and husband Tom and Debbie Murriel, all of Baytown; grandchildren Rachel Davis, of Houston, Shanna Blair, of Farmers Branch, Jessica West, of Houston and Kristen Scott, of College Station; sisters and brother Leota Lyons, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Manuel Crook, Jr. and wife Nancy, of Kingfisher, Okla. and Blanche Wright and husband Charlie, of Enid, Okla.; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Velma Crook; numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Evadene Joan Reynolds were held Friday, December 19, at 2:00 p.m. in the North Creek Baptist Church in Centerville with the Rev. Jim Grable and the Rev. Norman Diehl officiating. Interment followed in the Antioch Cemetery in Lovelady.

Memorial contributions may be made to the North Creek Baptist Church, 8153 F.M. 3178, Centerville, TX  75833.

CARL BURSON
Mr. Carl Burson, age 48 of Trinity, formerly of Crockett, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 in the Conroe Regional Medical Center. Mr. Burson was born November 5, 1960 in Crockett, Texas and has been living in Trinity for the past 12 years, previously living in Crockett. He had worked as a supervisor for United Steel and attended the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Wanda Burson, of Trinity; mother Joe Burson, of Crockett; children Christy Atkins and Joey Munsinger, of Crockett, Jereme Burson and wife Shamica, of Livingston; Melissa Burson, of Crockett, Joshua Burson and Emily Burson, of Trinity; grandchildren Haden, Ashleigh, Katelyn and Brandy Atkins, Dylan and Taylor Burson, Lillian and Isabella Burson, Harper Hyde; brothers Leonard Haley and wife Linda, of Huntsville, Paul Haley and wife Elizabeth, of Arlington, Lloyd Burson and wife Jeanette, of Trinity, Cater Burson and wife Brenda, of Crockett; caregiver Kacie Bolstic; special little friend  Chanston Holland; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by his brother Jo Earl Haley; and grandson Jasher Hyde.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Carl Burson were held Sunday, December 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Creek Cemetery with the Rev. John Goss officiating.

GROVER WYN HAM
Mr. Grover Wyn Ham, age 83 of Lovelady, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Ham was born November 4, 1925 in Trinity, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Lovelady. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. 

Mr. Ham was a retired mechanic having owned and operated Ham’s Garage and had also owned and operated Lovelady Laundromat. He was a former member of the Lovelady Church of Christ serving as song leader and treasurer. Mr. Ham was a past member of the Lovelady Lions Club, past member of Lovelady School Board, 40 plus year member of the Lovelady Volunteer Fire Department and past master Scout Leader of Boy Scout Troup # 409. He was a member of the Grace Street Church of Christ in Crockett.

Survivors include his wife Bobbie Ham, of Lovelady; sons Timothy Ham and Nathan Ham and wife Shannon, all of Lovelady; grandson Luke Ham and wife April, of U.S. Marines, San Diego, Calif.; granddaughters Heather Nicole Ham, of Huffman, Kelli Michele Ham, of The Woodlands; great-grandson Kellan Ham, of San Diedo, Calif.; sister Joella Reineman, of Houston; special cousin and friend Joyce Snell, of Crockett; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Zula Ham; grandson Brad Ham on December 21, 1991; brother William Randall Ham; and sister Frieda DeWolfe.

Funeral Services for Mr. Grover Wyn Ham were held Saturday, December 27, at 10:30 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Mr. Dalton Graves, the Rev. Scott Matthews and Mr. Rick Kelley officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lovelady.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 212 Gene Samford, Lufkin, Texas 75904 or Charity of Choice.

HENRY H. ENGLISH
Mr. Henry H. English, age 88 of Crockett, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 in the Winfield Nursing Center in Crockett. Mr. English was born August 4, 1920 in Ratcliff, Texas and had been living in Crockett since 2003, formerly of Galveston. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during World War II. Mr. English was a member of the American Legion in Beaumont and a member of the Ratcliff Baptist Church. He had been employed by Magnolia Oil in Beaumont and retired from Mobil Oil where he worked for 30 years in Instrumentation. 

Survivors include his brother Richard B. “Bob” English of Calif.; nieces, nephews and Other Relatives.

Military Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Henry H. English were held Monday, December 22, at 2:00 p.m. in the Jim English Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Lacey officiating.
