LOIS “JEANA” DUDLEY
Mrs. Lois “Jeana” Dudley, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Mrs. Dudley was born October 19, 1944.
Survivors include her daughter Sherry Guajardo and husband Roberto, of New Waverly; sisters Mary Webb and husband Duane, of Splendora, Gracie Fletcher and husband Tommy, of Brazoria and Pauline Houston, of Jones Creek; grandchildren Shawn Sanchez, Jr., Veronika Guajardo and Eric Guajardo; three aunts; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents Lois Beard Duckworth and Dale Gallant; and husband Allen Dudley.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lois “Jeana” Dudley were held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Willis. Interment followed at 3:30 p.m. at Hagan Cemetery in Crockett.

JAMES M. MCCOY SR.
Mr. James M. McCoy, Sr., age 75 of Crockett, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 in Lufkin Memorial Hospital. Mr. McCoy was born December 14, 1933 in Trinity County, Texas to John and Gladys McCoy and had lived most of his lifetime in Trinity County. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church of Groveton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving as a sergeant in the Korean War. Mr. McCoy was retired from Champion International Paper with 35 years of service. He had been married twice in his lifetime, first to Barbara Whatley and second to Hazel Park. In his younger years he was an avid coonhunter, fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his two daughters Jeanie Schuster and husband Brad and Brenda Hambrick and husband Bob; three sons Stanley James and wife Denise, Michael James and wife Brenda and James McCoy, Jr. and wife Elizabeth; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his first wife Barbara McCoy; son Robert McCoy; and parents John and Gladys McCoy.
Graveside Services were held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Taylor Cemetery on Trinity, with Bro. Lewis Jones and Bro. Newton Hambrick officiating.
KEVIN RAY MCDANIEL
Mr. Kevin Ray McDaniel, age 21 of Crockett, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009. Mr. McDaniel was born July 21, 1988 in Houston, Texas to Oletha McDaniel Murray and Stanley Murray. He attended Elementary School in Houston, then moved to Crockett, where he continued his education, graduating from Crockett High School with the class of 2006.
Mr. McDaniel accepted Christ as his Savior and united with Lacy Hill Church of Christ. He enjoyed being in worship services with his devoted grandmother and other family members, and all who loved the Lord. Mr. McDaniel was employed by the Crockett State School.
Survivors include his mother Oletha McDaniel Murray, of Crockett; father Stanley Murray, of Houston; devoted grandmother Thelma Burleson, of Crockett; two sisters Sheletha (Kendrick) Polk, of Alto and Marshandala (Terence)Wilson, of Mesquite; one brother Jason McDaniel, of Crockett; godmother Maria Willis, of Houston; special friend Rochelle Newman, of Crockett; adopted brother James Berry, of Crockett; adopted sister Krystal Holman, of Crockett; special uncles Eric Burleson, of Crockett, Hilliard Lewis, Jr., of Beaumont and Charles Blevins, of Houston; two nephews Jordan McDaniel and Tylek McDaniel; one niece Jasia McDaniel; five aunts; three uncles; several great-aunts and great-uncles.
Preceded in death by his twin daughters Adriannah and Aveyannah McDaniel.
Home going celebration for Mr. Kevin Ray McDaniel was held Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Crockett High School Auditorium.
Ms. Wanda Dugas, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 3, 2009.
Funeral Services for Ms. Wanda Dugas were held Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Willing Workers Baptist Church, 6900 Weaver Road, Houston, TX. with Pastor James C. Carrington, Jr. and Pastor Joel Ards officiating. Interment followed in Brookside Cemetery in Houston.
