Teddy Eugene Aldridge
LIVINGSTON — Teddy Eugene Aldridge, 88, of Livingston died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at his residence. Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 18, in Holly Grove Cemetery, with VFW Chaplain the Rev. Ted Buxton officiating. He was born May 18, 1921 in Monroe, Tenn., to William H. Aldridge and Pearl Pangle Aldridge. He was a United States military veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 0404 in New York, a lifetime member of VFW Post 8568 in Livingston and a member of the American Legion and the U.S. Submarine Veterans. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph J. Aldridge. Mr. Aldridge is survived by his sister, Joyce Mantooth; sisterin- law, Helen Aldridge; nephew, Doug Aldridge; nieces, Sherry Aldridge and Vicki Aldridge; longtime friends, Lois Maxwell Rolin and Dale, and Jim and Lois Burns and a host of good neighbors and friends. Gaye Warren
LIVINGSTON – A memorial service for Gaye Warren, 69, of Livingston was held Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Wright officiating. She was born March 9, 1940 in Odonell and died Aug. 14, 2009 in Houston. She was a member of the Lions Club in Sargent, was a great shuffle board player and member of the Ladies Shuffle Board of Livingston, a member of the Pine Shadows Civic Club and dearly loved her cats, Itibit and Bruno. She was preceded in death by Darren Warren, brother; Jack Warren and wife Joyce, brother and sister-in-law, and Orville Warren and wife Dottie, brother and sisterin- law. She is survived by her partner, Janie Ballard of Livingston; mother, Margarete Warren of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sister, Glynda Chism of Oklahoma City, Okla.; niece, Cheryl Cooley and husband Ron of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nephew, Jimmy Clay Warren and wife Fran of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nephew, Bill Warren and wife Audry of Brobridge, La.; nephew, Charles Warren and wife Carol of Maine and numerous special friends and other family. Frances Elizabeth Emerson
ONALASKA — Funeral services for Frances Elizabeth Emerson, 86, of Onalaska were held Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, with Holmer Anderson officiating. Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Pallbearers were Bobby Lee Kelley, Walker Landen Fletcher, Jason Isaac Fletcher, James Ellyson, Chris Kelley, Joe Darrell Emerson and Brandon Savitt. She was born Aug. 1, 1923 in Humble, the daughter of William Vincent and Mary Ann Cook Willis, and died on Aug. 15, 2009 in Livingston. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Emerson of Onalaska; Del and Shirley Hyatt, son and daughter-in-law, of Missouri City; Mary and Jerry Hallmark, daughter and son-inlaw, of Livingston; Judy and Jeff Savitt, daughter and son-in-law, of Toms River, N.J.; Bobby Lee Kelley, grandson; Walker Landen and Kelly Fletcher, grandson and wife; Jason Isaac Fletcher, grandson; Elizabeth Ann and James Ellyson, granddaughter and husband; Stephen Del Hyatt, grandson (deceased); Lyndsey Cara Savitt, granddaughter; Brandon Savitt, grandson; great-grandchildren, Christopher Kelley, Keith Kelley, Brittany Kelley, Faith Fletcher, Eleana Ellyson and Joshua Ellyson; great-great-grandchildren, Landon Jones and Sadie Moore; Jerry and Virginia Willis, brother and sisterin- law, of Onalaska; L.E. Lula Jean McPherson
LIVINGSTON — Lula Jean McPherson, 85, of Livingston died on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, in Pineridge Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. She was born May 19, 1924 in Abilene, to James Fairbanks and Henrietta Lumpkin Fairbanks. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruby Hailey and brother, Henry Fairbanks. She is survived by her daughters, Alma Duff and husband Carl of Trinity and Kathy Hightower and husband Edward of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Richard Brian Duff, James Daryl Duff and Paula Lynn Perez; great-grandchildren, Brianna Duff, Ethan Duff, Joseph Perez, Jordan Perez, Blake Hightower and Catherine Garza and her devoted friend, Candy Donner. Shirley Melton
LIVINGSTON — Shirley Melton, 69, was born Feb. 28, 1940 in Livingston and died on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, in Houston. She worked at First State Bank as a teller/secretary. Shirley belonged to First Baptist Church of Providence, played the piano, worked with vacation bible school, and loved crafts and shopping with her cousin, Mary Ann Myrow. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, friend who will be missed by all, including her co-workers at Pace Funeral Home. She is survived by her son, David Melton; daughter, Lisa Lantrip and husband Robert of Goodrich; grandchildren, Heather Melton, Josh Melton, Morgan Lantrip and Andrew Landtrip; greatgrandchild, Landon Melton; brothers, Leland Walters of Livingston and James Walters and wife Wynona of Livingston and sister, Geraldine White and husband, Hugh of Goodrich. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Hughbie Douglas Melton; her parents, Oscar B. and Agnes Moffett Walters and one sister, Ola Mae Vailes. Pallbearers will be Cullen B. Vailes, Matt Moffett, Shawn Nichols, Brandon Smith, Zachary Smith and Daryl Walters. LIVINGSTON — Ruby “Richardson” Kegans, 79, of Livingston died on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at The Bradford. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Billy Bracken and the Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Burial followed in Holly Grove Cemetery. She was born Dec. 11, 1929, to Earl W. Rankin and Agnes Shirley Rankin. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin P. Richardson and two sisters, Gloria Albright and Marie Damon. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Boyd and husband Jim of Livingston; son, Michael E. Richardson and wife Theresa; sisters, Evon Ward and husband Dub of Livingston, Louise Chalker of Livingston and Barbara Jackson of Center; grandchildren, Robby Boyd, Ryan Boyd, Rebecca Boyd, Michelle Sample, Matthew Richardson, Jessica Broome, Jodi Jenkins, Keith Howard, Joshua Burrows and Kelsey Burrows and great-grandchildren, Shelby Boyd, Austin Boyd, Caden Sample, Blake Sample, Kyndall Howard, Keagan Howard and Chloe Findley. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Pat Allen and spouse, Dell Richardson and spouse, Charlsie Waldrep, Bobbie Collins and spouse and Eddie Brackin and spouse; brother-in-law, Marvin Richardson and spouse; uncle, John Shirley and aunt, Vaudine Platt. LIVINGSTON — Dulce Marie Lamb of Livingston died on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, in Timberwood Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, in Brookside Memorial Park in Houston. She was born Oct. 9, 1930, to Matier Sariono and Niebes Perez Sariono.
