EVA HINKLIN TILTON
LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Eva Maxine Hinklin Tilton, 84, were held Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Votaw Worship Center, with Bro. Don Hinklin and Bro. Dean Love officiating. Burial followed in Holly Grove Cemetery in Polk County.
Mrs. Tilton died Sunday, July 1, at her residence in Segno.
She was born Aug. 5, 1922 in Votaw, the daughter of Jessie and Ada Gilley Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Hinklin and Tilmon Tilton; her parents; great-grandson, Phillip Brandon Hinklin; brothers, Herman Rhodes, Virgil Rhodes, Dorman Rhodes, Norris Rhodes and Carl Marvin Rhodes and sisters, Nellie Dettling and Dovie Burnett.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Mercy Hinklin of Livingston, Melvin Don and Brenda Hinklin of Kountze and Verne and Deloris Hinklin of Thicket; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Rhodes, Thomas Rhodes and Morris Rhodes and sister, Helen Jackson.
Pallbearers were Justin Hughes, Douglas Hughes, Phil Love, Larry Gus Burnett, Ricky Sumrall and Price Burnett.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
