Wayne Weston Adams
LIVINGSTON — Funeral services for Wayne Weston Adams, 78, of Shepherd, Texas will be held Tuesday June 23, 2009 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. He was born June 29, 1930 in Kingsville Texas and passed away June 19, 2009 in Shepherd. He is survived by his son, Weston “Wess” Adams of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Dannie and Bobbie Adams of Plantersville; granddaughter, Wendy Moulinex and great-grandchild, Harley Davison Moulinex and brothers in law, Billy and Judy Lindsey, of Nebraska, Jimmy “Doc” and Anita Lindsey of Shepherd and Charles Lindsey, of Jackson, Mississippi. James Patrick Wilson Jr.
LIVINGSTON — Funeral services are pending for James Patrick Wilson, Jr., 67, who died June 18, 2009 in Lufkin. James was born August 7, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, James “Pat” Wilson Sr. and son, Daniel Wilson. His survivors include his wife, Gwen Todd Wilson, his mother Harvella Johnson; daughter, Tamara Wilson and brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wilson of Lubbock. Jodie Spann Peevy
HUNTSVILLE — Jodie Spann Peevy was born on Jan. 9, 1949 to Milton and Willie Mae Spann in Livingston. She graduated from high school in Livingston and then attended business school. After business school, Jodie worked for Rice University and Anderson Greenwood. For the last 19 years she has worked for Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, in the financial aid department. She is survived by her husband, Lamar Peevy; her brother, Milton (Butch) Spann and four nephews, Dale, Terry, Billy and Ricky Spann. Jodie loved to travel and she and her husband took several cruises including trips to Jamaica, Cozumel, and Alaska and a drive to Tennessee in 2007. A celebration of life was held Saturday, June 20, at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Tracy Longino
LIVINGSTON — Funeral services for Tracy Longino, 83, of Livingston will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2009, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, with the Rev. Barry Jeffries and the Rev. Jack Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be J.R. Ellerbe, James Bergman, Guy Stinson, Randy Barton, Rick Rosenthal, Floyd Hutto, Red Reeves and Ed Peacock. Mr. Longino was born July 18, 1925 in Montgomery, La., the son of Alonzo Theodore and Annie Luther Longino, and died on June 19, 2009 in Livingston. He is survived by his wife, Peggy J. Longino of Livingston; daughters, Deborah Longino- Dow of Missouri City and Delinda Longino of Houston; sons, Darrell G. Longino of Goodrich and David Longino of Houston; grandchildren, Shanna Butler, Nicholas Abuabara II, Alexandra Abuabara, Trevor Dow and Kaitlyn Longino and great-grandchild, Kyra Mitchell. Frances B. (Granny) Lee
LIVINGSTON — Funeral services for Frances B. (Granny) Lee will be at noon Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Pace Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Private burial will be at the Union Grove Cemetery in Richards. Mrs. Lee was born May 18, 1930 in Buffalo Gap, Texas and went to be with the Lord, June 17, 2009, in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Lee; son, Melvin Earl Lee Sr.; daughter, Brenda Kay Sanford, parents and numerous siblings She is survived by daughter, Gloria Sanford of Houston; son, Douglas Lee and wife Vanessa of Shepherd; son, Harold Lee and wife Derenda of Casa Grande, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Billie Dale and husband David of Moscow, Kevin Sanford of Pasadena, Calif., Melvin Lee Jr and wife Mary Ann of White Springs, Fla., Joshua Lee of Livingston, John Lee of Shepherd, Tonya Lee of Shepherd, and Jessica Lee of Shepherd, eight great-grandchildren; Christopher Cherry, Teresa Cherry, A.J. Hays, Allison Lee, Brandon Lee, Madison Lee, Justin Lee and Nathanial Lee; sisters; Helen Williams of Flatonia, Bertha Hickman of Livingston and Nelda Moore of Round Rock. Numerous family and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Kevin Sanford, Christopher Cherry, Melvin Lee Jr., David Dale, John Lee and Harold Lee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Douglas Lee and A.J.
