Jewel Nelson Reeves
LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Jewel Nelson Reeves, 78, were held Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, in the First Baptist Church of Providence, with the Rev. John Page officiating. Burial followed in Peebles Cemetery.
Mrs. Reeves died Monday, Sept. 3, in Memorial Medical Center – Livingston.
She was born Dec. 25, 1928 in Livingston, the daughter of William and Maggie Wilkerson Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruby Tompkins and Lorene Nelson and brothers, Jack Emmett “Jimbo” Nelson and Curtis Nelson.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Kelton Taylor of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, John D. “Buddy” and Pat Reeves of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Wendy and Stephen Purdy of Fort Belvoir, Va., Tralyn and George Hodson of Jacksonville, Fla., Kelton and Donna Taylor Jr. of Longview and Ryan Reeves of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Jack Langham of Livingston and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn,  Dylan and Nathan Taylor, Taylor and Holly Purdy and Hailey Hodson.
Pallbearers were Kelton Taylor Jr., Ryan Reeves, Stephen Purdy, George Hodson, Wayne Wooldridge and Tommy Parham.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sharon Sue Snook
LIVINGSTON – Sharon Sue Snook, 52, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, at her residence in Phoenix, Ariz.
She was born Jan. 16, 1955 in Harris County, Texas, the daughter of Eugene Bert and Dorothy Vice Snook. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Sidney Bert Snook.
Survivors include her daughter, Lecie Kelley of Livingston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary “Bubba” and Cindy Snook of Livingston and Thomas E. and Sharon Snook of Livingston; sister and brother-in-law, Carol Beth and Mike Maxey of Gary; brother, Jason Woods of Gilmer and grandsons, Blake Campbell and Hunter Kelley, both of Livingston.

Frances Louisa Oliver
LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Frances Louisa Oliver, 95, of Livingston were held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Hood and the Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment followed in Peebles Cemetery.
Mrs. Oliver died on Sept. 5 in Stafford, in Oasis Lifestyle Assisted Living Home. 
Mrs. Oliver loved to travel, play cards and dominoes and especially enjoyed being around her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Oliver; son, Coy Oliver and her mother and father, Odie and James Boyd Riley.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Justine Oliver of Sugarland; grandchildren, Gary Oliver and wife Jeannette, Ricky Oliver and wife Rosanne and Cathy Price and husband Barry and great-grandchildren, Dianne Strom, Christine Taylor, Rebecca Price and Ben Price.

Joe Lynn Foster
LIVINGSTON -- Funeral services for Joe Lynn Foster, 78, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11,2007, in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Peebles Cemetery.
Mr. Foster was a self employed mechanic. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ethel Cox and Henry R. Foster and one brother, Virgil Foster.
Survivors include his sister, Thelma J. Miller of Lufkin and brother, H.R. Foster of Rye.
