HOWARD RAY PATTILLO
Funeral services for Howard Ray Pattillo, 74, of Trinity, Texas were held Sunday August 19, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Church of Christ. Interment followed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Pattillo was born February 17, 1933 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday August 16, 2007 in Trinity, Texas at his residence. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served honorably in the United States Navy from 1951 until 1955. He was an ambulance driver at Minton Funeral Home just after the war. He began his life in Insurance sales for American National Life Insurance, he attended Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science and became a Licensed Funeral Director in 1959 and continued his professional career with Minton Funeral Home in Borger, Texas for many years. He had lived in Wichita Falls, Texas before moving to Trinity, Texas in 2001 to enjoy retirement, play golf, and go fishing on Lake Livingston.
Howard was one of twelve children born to Edd and Mary Trude Burney Pattillo and his parents, brothers and sisters, William Douglas Pattillo, George Stennis Pattillo, Ruth Loryne King, Minnie Pauline Keeton, Mary Louise Greene, and Mavis Ann Gillispe all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia Joyce Pattillo; son David Ray Pattillo and wife Deena; daughter Karen Ann Pattillo; grandchildren Paul,, Krislyn, and Mark Pattillo; brothers and sisters Earle Noel Pattillo, James Hollis Pattillo and wife Lois, Evelyn Estell Pattillo, Edna Irene Holcomb and husband Kenneth, Barbara Lee Stover and husband John; and numerous other relatives.

DONALD WAYNE “DONNIE” BAKER
Funeral services for Donald Wayne “Donnie: Baker, 53, of Apple Springs, Texas were held Thursday August 16, 2007 at 11:00 am at Waller-Thornton Funeral Home. Interment followed at Carlisle Cemetery with Military Honors.
Donnie was born October 27, 1953 and passed away Monday August 13, 2007. He served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as a millwright for Virginia Rigots for many years. He was currently employed as the owner/operator of a Night Club in Trinity County called the Watering Hole. He loved to hunt and go fishing in his free time. He loved being surrounded by his many friends.
His parents Rufus and Norma Louise Baker and a brother preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughter Crystal Anderson of Texarkana; three grandchildren Jonathan Wayne Baker of Trinity, Tyler Dwayne Cheney of Lufkin, Texas, and Trevor Lynn Baker of Texarkana, Texas; three nieces and numerous other relatives

W. E. BOWEN
Masonic graveside service for W.E. Bowen age 88, of Palestine will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Chita Cemetery with members of the Joe Werner Masonic Lodge # 553 officiating.
Mr. Bowen died Sunday at the David E. Foster Hospice Unit at Palestine Regional Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1919 in Groveton, Texas to A.Y. and Ida Rasberry Bowen. Mr. Bowen was a long time resident of Anderson County. He retired from Brown & Root Marine Division after many years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Hickory Hill Masonic Lodge # 156 since 1960, and was a Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason. He was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church.
W.E. Bowen lived a full life, and had many friends.

AUDREY NELL PYLE LeBLANC
Funeral services for Audrey Nell Pyle LeBlanc, 57, of Apple Springs, Texas were held at 10:00 am, Friday August 17, 2007 at Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. James Whittlesey officiating. Interment followed in the Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. LeBlanc was born July 4, 1950 in Houston, Texas and passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007 in Lufkin, Texas. She was a homemaker and associated with Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Odevia Richardson Pyle and P. B. Pyle.
Pallbearers were Joe LeBlanc, Ronnie Joe Short, Eddie Pyle, Willie Pyle, Cody Pyle, J. L. LeBlanc, Stacy Pyle, and Danny Russell. Honorary pallbearers were C. J. LeBlanc, David Pyle, and Malrey Pyle.
Survivors include husband Calvin LeBlanc; daughters Misty LeBlanc of Apple Springs and Jerri LeBlanc of Conroe; son and daughter in law Keith and Jodi LeBlanc of Shepherd; sister and niece Phyliss Kieth and Shelby Kieth of Apple Springs; brother and sister in law Michael and Donna Pyle of Apple Springs; four grand-children; and numerous other relatives and friends.
