BETTY JEAN GUTHRIE
Betty was 72 years old when she passed away peacefully at her residence in Huntsville Tuesday December 2, 2008. She was born in Brent, Alabama on May 21, 1936 and her parents were Albert Joseph and Ila Mae Tingle.
Her parents and a son Ronnie Foreman preceded her in death
Betty was a homemaker all her life.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years Richard Vollie Guthrie; children Peggy Foreman, Teague Foreman and wife Paula; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers Leon, Hilburn, Victor, and Bob Tingle; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
There are no services scheduled at this time.

SUGIKO MATSUBARA GOODMAN
Sugiko was 66 years old and resided in Huntsville; she was born in Japan on January 30, 1942 and passed away Tuesday November 11, 2008 at her residence in Huntsville. She was a homemaker, loving wife and a good friend to many. Sugiko moved to Huntsville from California in 2008.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 39 years Stanley Robert Goodman; brothers and sisters Toshikazu Matsubara, Tomio Matsubara, Shizue Iijima, Tsuruko Okawa; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no memorial service.

JON LEWIS LEISSNER
Memorial service for Jon Lewis Leissner was held Friday December 5, 2008 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff McDonald officiating.
Jon was born on July 17, 1938 in DeRidder, Louisiana and passed away at his home in Trinity on Tuesday December 2, 2008. He was a resident of Lake Livingston since 1998. Prior to that he was a long time resident of Channelview and Crosby, Texas. After serving in the U. S. Army, Jon worked as an Operations Manager for Cron Chemical in Houston, Texas for more than 18 years. He attended Lee Jr. College of Baytown and University of Houston a received an Associates Degree in Finance.
In retirement he pursued the things he loved the most- fishing, traveling, wood-working, and was a member of the Texas Cruisers of Living-ston, he truly enjoyed classic cars. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include wife of 46 years Linda Leissner; daughter, Shannon O’Neal and husband T.L. of League City son; Clay Leissner of Houston; mother Bernice Leissner of Highlands, TX; brothers and sisters Bonnie James of Highlands, Texas, Tommy Leissner and wife Nancy of Gruene, Texas, Judy Simpson and husband Allen of Baytown, Texas, Becky Lamb and husband Larry of Highlands, Texas; and many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and in-law.
