NOEL D. BURCHAM
   Funeral services for Noel D. Burcham, 88, of Friday, Texas were held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Groveton Funeral Home with Br. Lewis Jones officiating   interment followed in the Ellis Prairie Cemetery.
  Mr. Burcham was born December 2, 1920 in Upshur County, Texas and passed away Wednesday January 14, 2009 in Lufkin, Texas. He was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Houston, a Veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII, and affiliated with First Baptist Church of Groveton.
   Survivors include his wife of 66 years Lois Burcham of Friday; daughters and sons in law Linda and J. E. Anderson of Friday, Nancy and Amos Stiborik of Humble; son and daughter in law Donald Ray and Diane of Pearland; five grandchildren, one great grand-child; fishing buddy Don Adams; and numerous other relatives and friends.

RYAN ALEXANDER GARRIDO
   Funeral services for Ryan Alexander Garrido, 13, of Onalaska were held Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 2:30pm at Rival Church of God with Rev. Gerald Reeves officiating. Ryan was laid to rest in Taylor Cemetery in Trinity County Texas.
   Pallbearers were Efton Fontenot, Jordan Moses, Steven Williams, Bill Garrido, Greg Garrido, Rodney Garrido, and Amy Peavy.
   Ryan was born on September 19, 1995 in Huntsville, Texas and passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 in Houston, Texas, was in the 7th grade at Onalaska Junior High and High School, was extremely pass-ionate about hunting and fishing and he loved to be outdoors, and was a member of the Rival Church of God
   His grandfather Herman Spranger, precedes Ryan in death.
   Survivors include mother Marion Sanford and husband Gary; father Ronald Garrido and wife Anita; brother Cisco “CJ” Knorr and wife Jackie; sister Sonja Knorr; paternal grand-mother Charlotte Velte; and numerous other relatives and many friends.

CHARLES DOSS SULLIVAN
   Funeral service for Charles Doss Sullivan was held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 11:00am at Woodland Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Hunt officiating. Burial followed in Memory Park Cemetery of Longview, Texas.
   Charles was born in Omaha, Texas on March 1, 1947 and   passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in Trinity, Texas.
   His Father Alvis Sullivan; and Brother Boyce Sullivan proceeded in death.
   Charles loved to go to auto auctions; he was a good auto mechanic and enjoyed fixing up old and new. Charles was a resident of Trinity, Texas; he had many loyal friends he spent his retirement years with. 
   Survivors include his daughter Shana Nichols and husband Anthony “Tony”; mother Marie Sullivan; grandsons Chad, Kevin and Brandon Williams; great-granddaughter, Aubrie Williams; and many other relatives and friends.

HOLLIJEAN PIPKIN IORGE
   Funeral service for Hollijean Pipkin Iorge, 82, of Trinity was held Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 5:00pm at Waller-Thornton Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Brown officiating.  Burial was held on January 15, 2009 in Conroe Memorial Cemetery at 4:00pm.
   Hollijean was born on November 15, 1926 in Lulling, Texas and passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Trinity, Texas at her residence. She was retired from K-Mart of Houston after 20 years as an advertising consultant. In 2001 she moved to Trinity, Texas. Hollijean spent her time embroidery for her family, crocheting and loved to work in her flowerbeds at her home. 
   Proceeded in death by husband Jesse T. Cheek, Jr.; brothers Bill, Jerry and Harold Pipkin.
   Survivors include her children Jesse T. Cheek, III, Jeanie Buske and husband Arthur, Ron Cheek and wife Jonnie Ruth, Jerry Cheek and wife Janelle, Ted Cheek and fiancée Dawn; twenty two grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother and sisters Virginia Meeter and husband Jay, Jackie Slaughter and husband Miles, Helen Bartos and husband Dolen, Cliffetta Whitsett and husband Fred, twin, Polly Griffin and husband Don, twin Peggy Bodbinitz and husband Mike, James Pipkin and wife Darlene; and numerous other relatives and friends.
