Funeral services for Roy Myers, Jr., 81, of Spring, Texas were held Friday, March 7, 2008 at 1:00pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Chapel with Rev. Lewis Jones officiating. Interment followed in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
Mr. Myers passed away Tuesday March 4, 2008 he had been a member of the Mason’s since 1965, the Eastern Star since 1987, the I.B.E.W. for over fifty years, retired from HL&P, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty Myers; four children; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.

Funeral services for Mrs. Deanda Cathey Ogden were held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 11:00am in the Groveton First Baptist Church with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. A private graveside followed in the East Prairie Cemetery.
Mrs. Deanda Cathey Ogden, age 55, of Trinity, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008 in the Conroe Regional Hospital. Mrs. Ogden was born July 15, 1952 in Houston, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Trinity. She had worked as a caseworker for the Department of Health and Human Services. Mrs. Ogden was a member of the Church of Christ in Groveton.
Preceded in death by parents, R. H. and Freda Mae Cathey
Survivors include husband Lynn Ogden of Trinity; daughters Lina Ogden and David Snyder of Groveton; Amy Ogden and Roland Martinez of Webster; granddaughter: Sabine Snyder of Groveton; sisters: Gina Townsend and husband, Terry of Groveton, Sheri Barrett and husband, Lee of Chita; brothers: Ronald Cathey and wife, Brenda of Possum Walk, Kenny Cathey of Chita, Danny Cathey and wife, Lisa of Groveton, and Darrel Cathey and wife, Shannon of Sebastopol; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
