REBA HATHORN
   Funeral services for Reba Hathorn, 86, of Groveton, Texas were held Friday October 31, 2008 at 11:00am in the Groveton Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Bagwell officiating. Interment followed in Ivie Cemetery.
   Mrs. Hathorn was born July 16, 1922 in Center Point, Trinity County, Texas and passed away Wednesday October 29, 2008 in Crockett, Texas she was a homemaker and was affiliated with Prairie View Methodist Church.
   Pallbearers were Charles McClain, Mike McClain, Mark McClain, and Tony McClain.
   She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Delno Hathorn.
   Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

XRANDA SHELISE “BOOKIE” RHOADS
    Xranda Shelise "Bookie" Rhoads, 32, passed away Thursday October 30, 2008 in Tyler Texas.
   Funeral Services were held at 11:00am Wednesday November 5, 2008 at Grace Tabernacle Church Lufkin, Texas with Rev. C.E. Jeffery officiating. Burial followed in the Lacy Cemetery.
  Xranda was born in Lufkin, Texas. March 19, 1976 to Janie Rhoads Lee.
   She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mrs. Mamie L. Rhoads.
   She leaves to mourn her passing her mother and father Curtis and Janie Lee; daughter Jamie LaShay Rhoads; her brother and sisters Stacy Lee, Daphne Rhoads, and Tawana Rhoads; three nephews; three  nieces; aunts; uncles; cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

EMIL SUE MARTIN DELK
Emil Sue Martin Delk, beloved mother, sister, and friend died peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2008.She was born in Westville, Texas on October 24, 1934 to Louis Russell Martin and Callie Cleo Tolliver Martin. She graduated from Groveton High School in 1953. She married Doyle “Bo” Delk on June 20, 1953. She was a housewife and bookkeeper for the family business, Delk & Sons Auto Service. 
She is survived by four sons, Doyle James Delk, Sr. and wife Sherri, Steven Luther Delk and wife Sandra, Dennis Louis Delk and wife Kelly, Scott Beeler Delk and wife Lana; two daughters, Sue Ann Delk and husband Allan Hall and darling daughter Debi Delk. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters Minnie May MacDonald, Beth Rhodes, Janie Cico, all from Angleton, Texas and Molly Haynes from Abilene, Texas; brothers Luther Martin and wife Margaret, Happy Martin and wife Cart Martin; brothers in law Billy Carlton and wife Dale and John Delk; sister in law Dorothy Smith.
She was preceded in death by loving husband of 34 years, Doyle Delk, Sr.; her parents; three sisters Pollye Kennedy, Hazel “Sweet” Carlton, Teecie Roden, an one brother Sam Martin; brothers in law Emmett smith, Dick Lee, Don Hensley, Dusty Martin, David Cico, Carroll Roden, Forrest “Buck” Kennedy, and Jack Haynes; sisters in law Joyce Hensley, Edith McRae, Dovie Lee, and Doris Delk.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice in the Pines, Lufkin, Texas.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at First Baptist Church with Bro, Lewis Jones officiating.  Interment followed in Glen-wood Cemetery.
