Funeral services were held for Jimmye Hamm Hoskins Wall in Lake Jackson, TX on Monday, March 31, 2008. She was buried at Phair Cemetery in Angleton, TX. Jimmye Wall, 75, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2008 in Houston, TX. Jimmye was born November 20, 1932 to Bill and Laura Hamm in Coldspring, Tx. She moved to the Brazosport area in 1951 and went to work for Dow Chemical C o m p a n y in payroll and retired from Human Resources in 1993. She was preceded in death by husband, Billly Hoskins, Jr.; second husband, D. “Curly” Wall and brother Jack B. Hamm. She is survived by daughters, Nell Lindner; Suzanne Ingram and husband, Dana; stepson, Bryan Hoskins and wife, Delia, all of Lake Jackson. Grandchildren, B.J. Hoskins of Sugarland, David Lindner of Houston, Michael Lindner of Lake Jackson, Darren Ingram and Michelle Ingram of Huntsville. One sister, Peggy Ritchey and husband, Sedoin, of College Station; sister-in law, Jaynell Hamm of Conroe; sister in law, Lola Willy and husband, Dicky of Angleton and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.Jimmye had many interests and loved entertaining family and friends. She was active in her Sunday School and WMU at First Baptist Church, Lake Jackson. Other groups that brought her great joy were the Brazosport Symphony League, Garden Club and Citizens Police Academy. Jimmye felt a special bond with her sisters from Beta Sigma Phi, of which she was a member of more than 50 years. She loved returning to Coldspring to visit with family and friends. WRIGHT
Mary Katherine Wright, 61, of Livingston passed away Sunday April 6, 2008 in Lufkin. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home - Livingston with Bro. Bob White offi ciating. Burial will follow in Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday April 9, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home. Mary is p r e c e d e d in death by her father M a h l o n Wright and m o t h e r R o b e r t a Hammond Wright. She is survived by her son Steven Crowsey of Grand Prairie, daughter and son in law Theresa Lynn and Rick Owens of Porter, daughter Tammy Michelle Long of Livingston, grandchildren Gary, Courtney, Seth, Roper, and Micah, sisters Brenda Long of Richmond, and Dawn Moreno of New Braunsfels, best friend and sister Billie Sue Hill, nephew Sherman Brinkley, and niece Wendy Brown. She is also survived by her extended Wal Mart family and her nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Owens, Jewell Ellison, Dwayne Harrison, Gary Harling, Sherman Brinkley, honorary pallbearers will be Roper Ellison, and Seth Owens.
