Richard Earl Castleberry, 43, of Oakhurst, passed away Sunday Aug. 17, 2008. A memorial service will be held in his honor Thursday Aug. 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska. He was born October 21, 1964 in Houston to parents Lee and Annie Pearline Waggoner Castleberry. He is preceded in death by his mother Annie Pearline Castleberry and one sister Alma June “Junebug” Castleberry. Richard is survived by his father Lee Castleberry, wife Barbara Castleberry of Oakhurst, daughter Marna Elizabeth Gearhart and husband Dennis Jason of Coldspring, son Braddon Eugene Kolafa of Shreveport La., and daughter Allison Nicole Kolafa of Kingwood. He is also survived by his grandsons Kale Alan Gearhart of Coldspring and Alek Navi Gama of Kingwood; Brother Roy Castleberry and wife Sabrina of Huntsville; nephews Douglas Kirk Castleberry and wife Kathryn of Huntsville, Brayden Castleberry of Huntsville and niece Jessica Hensarling of Huntsville. Graveside service for F. N. “Buddy” Moore, age 79, was held Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas, at 10 a.m. Mr. Moore was born May 10, 1929 in West Monroe, Louisiana, to Walter L. Sr. and Stella Baxter Moore, who precede him in death. He passed away August 10, 2008 at the Memorial Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas. Mr. Moore was a carpenter for various general contractors and served in the Army. He liked to hunt and fish. Survivors are his wife Stephanie Joann Moore; his son F.N. “Bud” Moore, Jr. and wife Pearl of Mobile, AL; Daughters Crystal Murphy of Houston, Amanda Moore of Onalaska; Brother John Moore of West Monroe, LA; Sisters Margaret Coronado of West Monroe and Verna Mae Leach and husband John of West Monroe, LA; Grandchildren Christopher Moore and Bailey Murphy.
