Marion Leon Bustin, 83, of Coldspring, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007. He was born in Forest, Ms. on May 27, 1924 to Jesse and Annie Laura Bustin.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Bustin of Coldspring; son, Phillip Bustin; sisters, Laura Bailey, Neppie Taylor, Elsie Pope and Delois Tadlock; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held November 25, 2007 at Pace Stancil Chapel in Coldspring.
Rosemary Cockrum, of Shepherd, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007 at the age of 59. She was born in Livingston, Texas to Luke Matthews and Ladys Hood Kyle of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters Kendra Cotton, Krystal Stout, Kimberly Keen; son, Clyde “Tommy” Cockrum; sister, Sherry Murphy; brother, Winfred Kyle; grandchildren Clint, Damien and Kolten Cockrum, Loria and Devin Cotton, Destiny, Danny, Jaden Stout, Trinity, Dawson and Lily Keen; great-grandchildren Cayden Allen Cockrum; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Pastor Carolyn Aycock conducted the service with interment at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
Virginia June Elmore, 83, of Shepherd, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007. She was born in East River, Texas on July 18, 1924 to Samuel and Myrtle Mae Orton Sorrells. She is preceded by both parents; her loving husband, William Elmore, Sr., and son William Elmore, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters Patricia Elmore, Pamela Shelby and Bill; son Philip Elmore and Berry; grandchildren Alison and Erin Finger, Meredith Elmore Snowberger and Scott, John and Elizabeth Elmore; great-grandchild Jasper Snowberger.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 24 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
Ronald Eugene Hogue, 56, of Coldspring, passed away Monday, November 19, 2007. He was born in Huntsville on July 13, 1951 to Robert Eugene Hogue and Marie Thompson Hogue.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Marie Hogue; daughter, Anna Martin and husband, Jonathan; son, Bart Billingsley and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Harrison and Anabella Martin, Landen Billingsley; brother, Robert Allen Hogue; sister, Alice Robison and husband, Douglas; nephews, Clayton Robison, Forrest and Justin Hogue.
Funeral services were held No-vember 23, 2007 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland with interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen.
Daisy Mae Langlinais, 59, of Coldspring, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007. She was born in Crowley, La. on July 30, 1948 to John Clebert and Victoria Touche LaBlanc.
She is survived by her husband, Harrison P. Langlinais; daoughters, Connie Langlinais, Jo Ann Rose; mother, Victoria LeBlanc; brothers, Maison LeBlanc and Edith LeBlanc, Clifton LeBlanc and Judy Kelly, Calvin LeBlanc, J.L. LeBlanc and Chris LeBlanc, Neelis LeBlanc; sisters, Bertha McIntyre, Donna Faye LeBlanc; grandchildren, DeMitchel Pierre Armstrong, Johnny Alton Armstrong; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Maxine Wood, Johnny B. Landrum and Toni Landrum, Sue Ellen and Garry Bradberry; grandparents-in-law, Johnnie and Elvin Armstrong.
Funeral services were held No-vember 21, 2007, at the Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, with interment Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen.
Vesta Pauline “Polly” Moffitt, 83, of Shepherd, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007. She was born in Bangs, Texas on June 14,1924 to Vesta Beatrice (McClung) and Clyde Emerson Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice McGlothlin; sons, Jerry Moffitt and wife, Cindy and Stephen Moffitt; grandchildren, Jerri Lynn Parker and husband, Eddie, Stacy Moffitt and wife Renay, Claire Turta and husband, Victor, Jeff Moffitt and wife, Jessica, Travis Tucker, Justin Moffitt and Brandi Moffitt; great-grandchildren, Sincere Gomez, Brian Moffitt, Tyler Moffitt and Maia Turta; and numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 24 at First Baptist Church, Shepherd. Rev. Preston Baker conducted the services.
Pallbearers were Allen Hum-phrey, Joshua Humphrey, Marion Littlejohn, Stacy Moffitt, Alvin Robertson and Travis Tucker.

Eleanor L. Williams, 86, of Shepherd, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007. She was born on July 17, 1921 in Niagara Falls, New York.
