Earl Morgan Manning, 73 of Marion, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 after a long illness.  He will join in heaven his parents, Algie and Vader Manning of Marion, LA; brother, Willie Manning, step-son, Charles Spencer Remore; grandson, Billy Wayne Donohue.  His survivors include his wife, Reba Manning of Marion, LA; sons, William and Robert of Sevierville, Tennessee; daughter, Tammy Harrison and husband, Cody of Coldspring, Texas; step-son, David Remore and wife, Othia of Downsville, LA; daughter-in-law, Susan Remore of Sterlington, LA; sister, Lila Mae McKinnie of Marion, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren with numerous other cherished family members and caring friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the residence of Tina Wattman and Joe Hair, 441 Dove Creek, Coldspring, Texas 77331.

Dee Necessary, 74, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at his home in Coldspring. He was born August 13, 1933 in Houston to Henry and Bedie (Robertson) Necessary.
He was preceded in death by his father Henry Necessary; his mother Bedie Robertson Necessary; brothers Charles Necessary and Weldon Necessary; and son, David Ray Necessary.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Necessary of Coldspring; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Roland Leger of Deer Park, Evelyn and Michael Jackson of Humble; daughter-in-law  Gwyn Necessary of Pearland; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Linda Stubbs of Deer Park, James and Pandora Stubbs of Pasadena, David Earl and Madeleine Stubbs of Deer Park and Tina and Billy Richey of Pasadena; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Military honors provided by VFW Post 8568.
Funeral services were held February 23, 2008 at Victory Gospel Church.  Pastor Caroline Ayock and Carl Sanders officiated.   Burial followed in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Coldspring.
Pallbearers were Cameron Leger, Travis Hamilton, Brandon Leger, Phil Wagner, James Thomas and Barry Tull.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn Skinner-Marley, 76, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008.  She was born in Alabama on October 31, 1931 to Lee and Flossie Allday who preceded her in death along with her husbands, George Skinner and Grady Marley; son, Larry Daniel Skinner.
Survivors include her sons, Roger Darrell Skinner, Troy Duran Skinner and wife, Darlene; daughter, Terri Livingston and husband, Ron; grandchildren, Teresa, Cinnamon, Brandy, Morgan, and Baby Troy; brother, Jim Allday, Quincey Allday; sister, Shelly; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family members and caring friends.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Old Big Creek, Shepherd, Texas.  Visitation was held Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
