Ricky Alvin Boles, 56, of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008. He was born in Houston, Texas on April 9, 1952 to Lawrence A. and Nora Jane Boles who preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, Richard Boles and wife, Mary; daughter, Lynda King and husband, Billy; grandchildren, Kara, Kaleb, Kobe, Taran, and Brendan; sister, Diane Boles, brother, Jerry Boles with numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving and caring family members and friends beyond measure. Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Coldspring, Texas with interment at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.

Grover C. Ellisor, Jr. of Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2008. Born on November 3, 1931 in Houston, Texas, he was member of the Highland Park High School of 1948 and graduated from Texas A & M University in 1953 with degrees in Petroleum and Geological Engineering. A member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, he served as company commander and drum major of the White Band. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army in the Field Artillery at Fort Bliss, Texas. After his discharge, he embarked upon a successful career in the oil and gas exploration and production industry, holding membership in the Society of Petroleum Engineers and designation as a Licensed Professional Engineer by the State of Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland and Ottis Neighbors Ellisor. He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, the former Mary Katherine Jackson; children, Margaret Kay Hopkins, Grover C. Ellisor, III, Patty Ellisor Sode, John C. Ellisor; seven grandchildren; sister, Elisabeth Ellisor Jones and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other loving and caring family members and friends beyond measure. Graveside services were held Thursday, May 22, 2008, 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen, Texas.

Janet Benson, 69, of Baytown, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008. She was born in Cleveland, Texas on January 1, 1939 to I.D. “Bee” and Velma Anderson Wright. Janet was Baptist in faith and her family and friends will surely miss her. Survivors included both parents, one son, Doug Evans; three d a u g h t e r s , Debby Haas, Alissa Ellis, Julianne Coogler; sisters, Billie Allen, Denise Franklin; eight grandchildren, Maury Trapino, Corinne Evans, William Evans, Cale Haas, Alina Ellis, Brett Coogler, Camaryn Coogler, John Riley Ellis; five nephews, Jim Condra, Robert Condra, Greg Allen, Quinten Franklin, Tylan Franklin; nieces, Courtney Condra, Keeley Franklin, Kalyn Franklin; and so many other cherished family members and caring friends. Memorial services were held Friday, May 30, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.

Amanda Kaye Robinson, 36, of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 10, 1971 to Arthur Robinson and Sarah Beth Mullins. Survivors include her mother, brother, William Robinson; sister, Bonnie Jean Muirhead; niece, Jasmine Muirhead; nephews, Winston Fitzgerald Muirhead and Paul William Sumner along with many other loving family members and cherished friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 31, 2008, 12:00 Noon at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Magnolia Cemetery, Onalaska, Texas.
