BURNS
Lou Estelle Burns, 92, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008. She was born in Raleigh, Mississippi on February 3, 1916 to Wilford D. and Susan Lee who preceded her in death along with her husband, O.Q. Burns; son, Walter G. Burns; and sister-in-law, Jessie Lee Burns. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 18, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Raleigh Mississippi with interment at North Raleigh Cemetery, Raleigh, Mississippi. Pallbearers were Deacons of First Baptist Church, Raleigh, Mississippi Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Burns; sons, John and Robert Burns; sisters, Jean Culliver, Bobby Culliver and Sara Kitchens; grandchildren, Robert Burns JR,, Elizabeth Kua, Jesse Meadows, Cecily Windmill, Allen Cambell, John and Edward Adair; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces, Billy Ware, Ricky Lee, Jimmy, David Woods, George Lee, David Yelverton, Neil, Pokie, Cynthia Woods and many, many more. Other survivors, The Heilman Family, The Henderson Family, The Browns and Mrs Guinn.

KIRBY
Wilma Jean Kirby, 80, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008. She was born in Childress, Texas on January 11, 1928 to Roy Vester and Johnnye Palmer Mc- Cain. Survivors include her son, Keith Kirby; with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and treasured friends. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 22, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.

McCORMICK
Leanora E. McCormick, 74, of Point Blank, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008. She was born in Milford, Texas on November 7, 1933 to Earl and Octree Dorothy Irvin. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynda Johnson and husband, Curtis, Susan Baxter; sisters, Ella Kinney and husband, Jim, Diane Cornett and husband, James; grandchildren, Melissa Johnson, Angela Brown, Sharon Lynn Baxter; greatgrandchildren, Dustin Risner, Eric Scott Brown, Jack Brown; nephews, James “Jimmy” Cornett; nieces Michele Proctor, Lori Peppard, Jana Houlihan; with many other precious family members and caring friends. Graveside services were held Friday, June 13, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at their Lazy J Cemetery, Point Blank, Texas.

GRAHAM
Lula Jane (Linton) Graham, 89, of Camilla, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008. She was born in Palacios on September 12, 1918. Lula was one of five children born to Emitt Henderson and Elizia Jane (Price) Linton. She was affectionately known to all as “Mama Lou,” as her heart and home was always open to everyone. She loved living in Camilla and often volunteered at the American Legion Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents Emitt and Elizia Linton; sister Bulah Christian; brothers Elwood Linton, Ryling Linton and Marion Linton. She is survived by her nieces, Ellen Deaton, Patsy Cranford, Gladis Chandler, Gracie Hudson, Joyce Henson and Daurece Cox; nephews, Henry Linton, L.E. Christian and Gerald Christian; numerous other family members and friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched, including her dear friends and caregivers Bryan Hilton, Teresa McDaniels and family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Camilla with Pastor Art Gillinger officiating. Interment is at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery in Cleveland.
