ELLINGBURG
Sybil Ellingburg, age 65, of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009. She was born in Houston, Texas on March 8, 2009 to Lang and Nora Pipes. Survivors include her son, Ervin Ellingburg and wife, Eva; brother, Lee Pipes and wife, Rosalind; granddaughters, Megan, Katheryn, Taylor, Abbigayle, Madison; grandson, Jackson with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family members. Sybil also loved her special friends, Vera Bertrand, Barbara Durfee, Barbara Richardson, and Sandy Jeter. Rev. Jerry Lyons and Rev. Elmer Fulp lead funeral services held Wednesday, March 11, 2009, 11 a.m. Interment followed at Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery, Houston, Texas.

JANOWSKI
Maria N. Janowski, age 76, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away March 14, 2009. She was born in Spain on June 26, 1932. Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2009, St Mary’s Catholic Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Luther Janowski; both parents, Manuel Garrido and Carlota Navarro; and her sister, Manuela. Survivors include her daughter, Natividad Maria Janowski; grandchild, William Joseph Janowski along with so many treasured friends throughout the years.

TURNER
Agnes V. Turner, 88, of Shepherd, Texas passed away Sunday March 15, 2009 in Galveston. She was born May 5, 1920 in Gunaja, Honduras to parents Charlie and Agnes Tatum Bodden. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one son Charles L. McNab. She is survived by her children Mervin McNab of Honduras, Harvey McNab of Honduras, Evelyn Cochran Snider of Shepherd, Dora Ebanks of Galveston. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and sisters Odell Heitman of New York, and Effie Bodden of New Orleans. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
