MALONE
William (Bill) Myrl Malone, 70, of Lufkin, passed away April 5, 2007.  He was born in Hattiesburg, Miss. on October 1, 1936.
He was preceded in death by parents, William McKinley Malone and Clyde Wallace; sister, Lois Buckalew; brothers, Wilson Breland and Melvin Malone.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Clarissa (Chris) Malone, daughter, Elizabeth Gayle Cole and husband Walter; sons, David Wayne Malone, Mark Allen Malone and wife Lisa; grandchildren, William (Bill) Cloud, Marcus Allen Malone; great-grandchildren, Shawn Cloud,  Dylan Cloud, Ashley Cloud, Kylie Cloud, Wesley Cole; brother, Horace Kenneth Breland and wife, Wanda.
Funeral services were held April 9, 2007 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Coldspring, with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.

HEINTJES
Jewel Evelyn Heintjes, 60, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at her home in Cleveland.  She was born November 24, 1946 in Livingston, to the late Estle Sutton and the late Bertie Sutton.
She is survived by her busband, Jan Heintjes; daughter, Sheila Buckley and husband Mike of Cleveland; son, Hans Heintjes of Cleveland; brothers, Floyd Sutton of Cleveland, Lloyd Sutton  of Livingston, Vernon Sutton and wife Shirley of Porter, Emmit Sutton of San Augustine; sister, Joyce Denby of Splendora; grandchildren, Julius Buckley, Kaylee Heintjes, Isabella Buckley, Paisley Armstrong; numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Neal Funeral Home Chapel, April 7.  Interment followed in the Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
Funeral services were handled under the care of Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland.

CORLEY
Charlotte Lynn Corley, 62, passed away April 5, 2007 at her home in Cleveland.  She was born March 21, 1945 in Liberty, to the late Joe Hollis Griffin and the late Gladys Emelia Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Kenneth Griffin and Billy Griffin.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Daniel Corley; daughters, Valerie Jones and husband Billy of Rye, Jennifer Mitchell of Cleveland, Holly Kelley and husband Randy of Thicket; grandchildren, Alan Jones, Bradley Jones, Misti Mitchell, Tiffany Mitchell, Garrett Melancon, Payson Melancon, Justin Kelley, Randon Kelley; great-grandchildren, Kylie Paige Jones and Colton Bryce Jones; numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Neal Funeral Home Chapel, April 7.  Rev. Bob Dunegan officiated with interment in the Holly Grove Cemetery, Livingston.
Services were handled under the care of Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland.

PIERCE
Brian Keith Pierce, 33, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in Galveston.  He was born October 8, 1973 in Durant, Okla. to Kenneth and Rebecca Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wayne Pierce.
He is survived by his wife, Trina Kay Pierce; children, O’Brian and Cassidi Pierce of Cleveland; sisters, Kimberly Mullens and husband Justin of Howe, Vivan Pierce of Armstrong, Okla., Amanda Pierce of Armstrong, Okla.; two nieces; four nephews;  numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Neal Funeral Home chapel, April 6, 2007.  Graveside services were held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong, Okla.
Services were handled under the care of Neal  Funeral Home, Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brian Keith Pierce Memorial Fund at the First Texoma National Bank in Durant, Okla.

BROWN
Adrienne Lee Ann Brown, 16, passed away on April 3, 2007 in Cleveland.  She was born August 26, 1990 in Humble, to the late  Charles Dewayne Brown and Dana Ann McPheeters.
She was a member of the Dolen Baptist Church.  She also played softball with the Tarkington Baseball Association.  In her freshman year at Tarkington High School she played volleyball, basketball, and was on the track team.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Evelyn McPheeters, Marjorie and Norman Turnbow; great-grandparent, Robert F. Denny;
She is survived by her mother, Dana Ann Brown and step-father Howard Bagley of Riverside; brothers, Cole Brown of Tarkington, Justin Brown of Tarkington, James Bagley of Riverside and Shane Bagley of Riverside; great-grandparents, John McPheeters of Alton, Ill., Jean Denny of Tarkington, Addie Denny of Pasadena; grandparents, Robert McPheeters of Livingston, Hollis Bagley of Wis, David and Cheryal Denny of Tarkington, Bob and Darlene Immel of Wis., Delorise Gray of Trinity; aunts and uncles, Holly and Parrish McPheeters, of Staunton, Ill., Robert McPheeters of Livingston, Jamie and Dale Ford of Austin, Teresa Ford of Trinity, Joey Gray of Trinity, Maryann and Roy Barton of Wis., Jackie and Nick Nienhaus of Wis., Cindy and Steve Long of Wis.; great aunts and uncles, Trenna and Rankin Ramsey of Trinity, Jill and Ray Baum of Tarkington, Vicki Gatson of Alton, Ill., Mark Denny of Patton Village; numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held April 7, 2007 at the Rural Shade Baptist Church, Tarkington.  Rev. Shane Hovelman officiated.  Interment followed in the Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland. 
Services were handled under the care of Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland.

REBER
Jason Wayne Reber, 31, passed away April 3, 2007 in Shepherd.  He was born Friday, November 28, 1975 in Livingston, to Danny G. and Charlotte A. Smith.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Russell Smith, Margie and Leonard Reber.
He is survived by his parents, Danny and Charlotte Smith of Shepherd; sister, Amanda Murphy and husband David Luke of Shepherd; niece, “Boogie” Murphy; nephew, Dustin Murphy; grandmother, Merna Smith; numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Neal Funeral Home Chapel, April 6, 2007.  Rev. Tim Parker officiated.  Interment followed in the Pebbles Cemetery, Goodrich.
Services were handled under the care of Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers donations may be make to Neal Funeral Home or the family of Mr. Reber to assist with funeral expenses.

ALSTON
Jean Alston, 79, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 after a brief battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Malcolm Alston.
She is survived by her four children, James Alston of Houston, Vicki Alfano of CastleRock, Colo., Gary Alston of Katy and Janna Fries of Katy.
Funeral services were held April 27 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville.

San Houston Memorial Home in Huntsville was in charge of arrangements.

ROLLINS
Kenneth Dwayne Rollins, 45, of Shepherd, passed away at his home Thursday, April 12, 2007.  He was born November 16, 1961 in Conroe.
He was Baptist in faith, Masonic Lodge member and Eastern Star Chapter 1003 member.  He worked at the chemical plant “Occidental” for 13 years.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Street; and stepmother, Reba Rollins.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Rollins; mother Vida Standley and husband, Jerry; father, Ed Rollins; daughter Sarah Rollins; son, Ken Rollins; sisters, Kim Hoot and husband, Jake, Patty Jessup and husband, Dean; brother, Jerry Rollins and wife, Barbara; step sisters, Debbie Holt and husband, Mark, Shelly Davison and husband, Scott; nephews, Tyler and Kyle Davison, Cody Holt, Wayne Rollins, Brian and Josh Carey, David and Justin Hoot, Steven Street, Travis McAdams; nieces, Amanda McAdams and Jessica Street; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held April 14, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Shepherd.  Bro. Preston Baker officiated
Pallbearers, Bro. Bill Arrendell, Bro. Jake Hoot, Bro. Steven Howeth, Bro. Dale Lowery, Bro. Richard Manske, Bro. Thomas McAdams; honorary pallbearers, Roger Dale Chreene, Tommy Lummus, Tommy Douglas, Gary Little, James Trapp and Bro. Thomas McAdams all escorted him to Big Creek Cemetery in Shepherd where ceremonial services were conducted by both Masonic Funeral Team and Eastern Star Funeral Team.
