Jeanne Faye Simon passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007. She was born Monday, November 29, 1948 to Charles David, Jr. and Nora Zelda Runyon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Simon and her granddaughter Mercy Fanae Singleton.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Renee Henderson and husband George of Shepherd; son Jody Singleton and wife Belinda of Laurel, Miss; brothers, David Allen Runyon and Charles David Runyon III; grandchildren, Austin Piwko, Dustin Henderson, Kevin Henderson, Andrea Piwko, Gracie Henderson, Cody singleton and Leikon Singleton; numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Shepherd on Saturday, May 26, 2007. Interment followed at the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd.
All services were handled under the care of Neal Funeral Home.
Martin Allen Kay, Sr., passed away at the Cleveland Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the age of 52. Martin has been a resident of Cleveland for more than 25 years, born on September 29, 1954 in Houston, to Jesse Willard and Minnie Blanch Kay.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Kay; daughters, Christie Thomas and Patience Espinoza; sons, Darrell Kay and Martin Kay, Jr.; brothers, Gary, Buddy, Doyle and Ronnie; grandchildren, Ciara, Erin, Hunter, Starr, Layton, Travis, Jacob, Austin, Andrew and Brittany; one great-grandchild, Amy; with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and loving friends.
Bro. Carl Williamson conducted the funeral service on May 29, 2007 at the Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment at the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
Dorothy Nellie Warn passed away on May 14, 2007 at the age of 96. She was born in Minnesota on April 2, 1911 and moved to Houston, in 1969.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Holton Guy Warn; and mother, Maude Pilkey.
She is survived by her only child, Gail Warn Stadsvold, and husband Robert; granddaughters, Stacey, Sonja and Sara and their husbands; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Hunce Lagerstrom of Minnesota.
A private memorial service was held at the Oakwood Cemetery, Coldspring.
