George Allen
TRINITY – Services for George Allen, 89, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in the Lone Star Baptist Church in Trinity with the Rev. Douglas Dubose officiating.
Mr. Allen was born April 16, 1918, in Glendale, the son of the late Andrew “Pat” and Ida Allen. He was married to Annie Bell Allen and to this union was born seven children, Joyce Marie Neel, Billie Ruth Allen, George Allen Jr., Odell Allen, Thomas Earl Allen, Robert Earl Allen (Sharon) and John L. Allen (Dorothy).
He was preceded in death by five siblings, Ella Allen, Rebecca Allen Hightower, Mollie Allen Evans, Morene Allen Kelly and Eugene Allen Williams.
Survivors include three sons, two daughter-in-law, seven grandchildren, Joyce Marie Allen, Kenneth Neely, Fonzell Neely, Nicole Allen, Leia Allen, Tammie Allen and Tommie Allen; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Jay Scott Henry
TRINITY – Jay Scott Henry, 59, of Trinity died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, in Trinity.
A private memorial service for close friends and family will be held.
Mr. Henry was born July 24, 1948, in Chicago, the son of Joe and Polly Henry of Huntsville. He was employed by Lone Star Community College as a truck-driving instructor and also actively worked with the Special Olympics of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kaye Henry; three sons and their spouses, Scott and Shannon Henry of McKinney, Jeremy and Sarah Henry of St. Paul, Texas, and Jacob and Lucrecia Chandler of Huntsville; two brothers, Jody Henry of Huntsville and Todd Henry of Tyler; four grandchildren, Adison Henry, Ryan Henry, Maya Henry, and Joshua Henry; three horses, four dogs and five cats.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Mr. Henry’s name to the Special Olympics of Texas. Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements.

George Paschall Jr.
TRINITY – George Paschall Jr., 80, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, in the Cy-Fair Hospital in Houston.
Burial was held in the Houston Veteran’s Cemetery.
Mr. Paschall was born July 29, 1927, in Roan’s Prairie. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Azzie Paschall Sr.; a brother, Charles Paschall; a sister, Dorothy Flanagan; and a nephew, Randy Paschall.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Janet Paschall of Trinity; a son and his spouse, George “Buddy” and Vicki Paschall of Dallas; a sister, Eula Starns of Trinity; three grandchildren, Wendy  Paschall, Coby Paschall and Kacie and her husband, Marine Lance Cpl. Jason Welte; and a great-grandson, Andrew Welte of Dallas; two nieces, Billie Harper and Georgia Flanagan of Houston; one nephew and his spouse, Ronnie and Tammy Paschall of Dallas; and a great-niece, Jade Paschall of Ada, Okla.
Conroe Funeral Directors handled the arrangements.
