Richard Peter Dickson
TRINITY – A rosary service for Richard Peter Dickson, 79, were held at 7 p.m, Thursday, March 12, at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Highway 19 North in Trinity.
A funeral mass was said at 1 p.m. Friday, March 13, at the church.
Mr. Dickson died Saturday, March 7, in Conroe following a brief illness.
He was born March 13, 1929, in New York, NY, and was a geo physicist. He was employed by Teledyne Exploration, Gulf Oil and Chevron Oil for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dodie Dickson.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Dickson and Christopher Dickson; two daughters, Stephanie Dickson and Megan Snitkoff; a sister, Marguerite Kunz; four grandchildren, Shea Martinson, Leslie Dickson, Melissa Snitkoff and Ashley Snitkoff; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Alvis Evelyn Houze Juniel
TRINITY – Services for Alvis Evelyn Houze Juniel, 89, of Trinity were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Trinity with the Rev. Jeff McDonald and the Rev. Everett McCollum officiating.
Burial followed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity.
Mrs. Juniel died Saturday, Feb. 28, at her daughter’s residence.
She was born June 24, 1919, in Macon, Miss. And was a homemaker. She served as mayor of San Augustine for several years, was a member of the garden club, The Landing Clippers, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and the bridge club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Juniel; a son, Jimmy Juniel; and a grandchild.
Survivors include four daughters and their spouses, Robbie and Bill Summers, Sarah Juniel Zaleski, Mary Susan and Buck Cefalu and Ratty and Edwin Ringo; a sister, Berniece Theobold of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Trinity Funeral Home directed the arrangements.
