Lonnie Floys Holder
TRINITY – Services for Lonnie Floys Holder, 93, of Trinity were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in the Trinity Church of Christ with the Rev. Dave Collier officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Bishop Cemetery in Stephenville.  
Mr. Holder died Tuesday, May 5.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1915 in Lipan and was a graduate of Tarlatan College and David Baker College. He served in the 2nd Marine Division during WWII in the Pacific Theatre.
Mr. Holder was the founder and owner of Holder’s Pest Control until retirement in 1983. He was past president of Houston Pest Control Association and life member of Texas Pest Control Association. He served as president of South End Optimist Club and was a current active member of the Optimist Club.
He also was a lifetime member of Trinity County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6988 of Trinity and served on the board of directors at Martin Senior Center of Trinity. Mr. Holder began his teaching career in Palo Pinto County and worked as a substitute teacher through the 2008 school term at Trinity ISD. He was a loyal member of Trinity Church of Christ.  
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Una Holder,; a daughter, Patsy Avery; and his first wife, Ann. 
Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce Holder; a son, L. Leo Holder,; a son-in-law, Art Avery; a sister, Bernice Larner; five grandchildren and their spouses,  Lonnie and Lisa Holder, Ronnie and Kelly Holder, Kimberly and  Bryan Powell, Debbie and Richard Buie and Kathy and Michael Gore; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers included Zack Gore, Mitch Holder, Jason Hambright, Blake Hambright, Austin Powell. Pallbearers were Lonnie (Scooter) Holder, Ronnie Holder, Leo Holder, and Darrell Hutto. 
Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements

Floris L. Lange
TRINITY – Services for Floris L. Lange, 80, of Trinity were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009, in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Livingston with the Rev. Carl Roth officiating.
Graveside services were held later that day in the Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
He died Monday, April 20, 2009 in Conroe.
Mr. Lange was born Feb. 2, 1929 in Buckholts, the son of William H. Lange and Irene H. Fuchs Lange. He served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 and retired after 33 years of service from Union Carbide Chemical Co. were he was a production manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Iona Laverne Lange; a brother, William Ardell Lange; and a sister, Lina Dakel.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Lange of Trinity; a daughter, Cathy D. Carlson of Pearland; and a granddaughter, Melissa Irene Carlson of Pearland.
Pallbearers included Marty Renaud, Andrew Radke, Larry Fuchs, Ronny Fuchs, Robbie DeWitt and Danny Harkreader. Honorary pallbearers were Ernie Fuchs and Gary Fuchs.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to the Blanche K. Werner Library at P.O. Box 1168 Trinity, Texas, 75862, and also the Trinity Lutheran Church of Livingston
Cochran Funeral Home of Livingston directed the arrangements.

Jewel Maxine Yates Warren
TRINITY – Services for Jewel Maxine Yates Warren, 76, were held at 11 a.m. on May 9, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Trinity with the Rev. James Whittlesey officiating.
Burial followed in Bennett Cemetery. 
Mrs. Warren died peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, May 5, in Conroe.
She was born Oct. 30, 1932 in Onalaska,  the daughter of Clarence and Elsie Yates. She was a member of the Trinity High School Class of 1950.
Mrs. Warren became a licensed cosmetologist and worked in Houston for a short time. She was the personnel manager for K-Mart in Baldwin, Mo. from 1974 to 1989.
She was preceded in death by brother, Clayton Yates; and her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Paul Nelson “Buddy” Warren; three children and their spouses, Pamela and Larry Bruce of Houston, Janet and Donald Carling of Spring, Mark and Mary Warren of Cypress; a brother and his spouse, Ralph and Tina Yates of Huntsville; a sister, Syble Barrett of Trinity; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Tracy, Nicholas, Erin, Eric, Jennifer and Jamie; and a number of other relatives.
