Barbara Jean Snyder
TRINITY – Services for Barbara Jean Snyder, 77, were held Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Dorcas Wills Memorial Baptist Church in Trinity with the Rev. Leroy Brown and Pastor Jason Burden officiating.

Burial followed in Latexo Cemetery in Latexo.

Mrs. Snyder died Tuesday, Sept. 9, in Trinity.

She was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Kansas City, Kansas and was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mildred Jones; a sister, Rose Johnson; and a niece, Cheryle Boge.

Survivors include her husband, Ed. L. Snyder; two sons and their spouses, Randy and Janet Snyder and Brad and Amber Snyder; a daughter and her spouse, Melissa and Larry Pate; a brother and his spouse, Oran and Pat Jones; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Stefanie and Dan Cole, Amanda Snyder, Brent Snyder, Jason Snyder, Tiffany and Mike Jones, Rebecka Snyder, Amy Snyder, Travis Snyder, Bailey Rogers and Kelsey Pate; two great-grandchildren, Aubrie and Brooke Cole; and a number of other relatives

Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements.

Winston Elwood Stephens
TRINITY – Services for Winston Elwood Stephens, 78, were held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home in Trinity with the Rev. Leroy Brown officiating.

Burial followed in the Clapp Cemetery.

Mr. Stephens died Wednesday, Sept. 10, in Trinity.

He was born Feb. 6, 1930, in Walker County and was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Tine and Viola Andrews Stephens; and a brother Preston Stephens.

Survivors include two daughters and their spouses, Dana and Leland Heuszel and Mary and James Byer; two sons, Randy Stephens and Rusty Stephens; a sister-in-law, Lou Ella Stephens; six grandchildren, Stephen Heuszel, Amanda Heuszel and friend Shaun Cook, Jesse Heuszel, Jennifer Ragsdale, Jimmy Ragsdale, Janice Thompson and her husband Robby; five great-grandchildren, Travis, Thomas, Austin, Hailey and Macie; and a number of other relatives.

Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements.
