Shepherd Christmas parade growing
San Jacinto News- Times - December 2008
SHEPHERD – Touting the theme of “An Old Fashioned Christmas,” Shepherd’s annual Christmas parade is gathering a bigger and better group of enthusiastic entries than ever before, according to parade organizer Tim Peimann. Sponsored by the Shepherd Chamber of Commerce, the parade will start at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church on Hwy. 150 in Shepherd and end at Shepherd Middle School. “Santa will participate in the parade this year and pictures with Santa will be taken at the school,” Peimann said. “Everyone is invited to the Shepherd Pirate’s traditional “Blue and White” Christmas Musical presentation following the parade. Shepherd Chamber of Commerce expresses deepest appreciation to Peoples State Bank for sponsoring prizes and trophies for the event; and to Peimann for an outstanding job of creating a spectacular event each year. For more information, please contact Peimann at 936-628-3388 or admn. woodland@healthprime.com.
