Wildlife tax evaluations explored

SHEPHERD -- Would you like to have a wildlife tax evaluation on your property? If you currently hold an agriculture 1-D-1 evaluation on your property the state legislature has passed several bills to allow you to roll over your 1-D-1 evaluation into a 1-D-1w wildlife evaluation at the same tax rate. Texas AgriLife Extension Service has scheduled a program to address this issue and questions as well as explore wildlife resource revenues. Thieprogram will be held at the AgriLife Extension offi ce in Shepherd beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2012. Registration for the program will be $10 and can be paid at the time of the program. You can bring a drink and snack with you to the meeting.
