Construction starts on new Habitat home

SHEPHERD -- Habitat for Humanity San Jacinto County plans to start construction on their third home in the county soon. The next home will belong to Blanche Pollard of Shepherd. A volunteer meeting, for those who want to volunteer their time and skills, is planned for Saturday, Feb. 7, at 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Shepherd Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. A dedication of the home foundation is planned for the same day at 5 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the construction site, 830 Cherry Creek Drive.
