Annual Go Texan scholarship event set

SHEPHERD -- The Annual San Jacinto County Area Go Texan Dinner/ Raffl e/Auction will be held Saturday, Feb. 20. Doors will open at 6 p.m. at the Cleveland Civic Center. Proceeds go towards local San Jacinto County Area Go Texan Scholarships. This year your special ticket price of $100 includes dinner for two, with all the trimmings and a chance to win one of the following raffl e prizes: • Kubota 4X4 Silver Limited Edition RTV Utility Vehicle or • Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor LT 1042 w/42 mowing deck or • Remington 870 Express 12 gauge Shotgun. You need not be present to win in the raffl e but you don’t want to miss out on a chance to win numerous of other great prizes (and a great dinner for two)! There will be door prizes, auctions, games and as always a few surprises! Tickets are now on sale at People State Bank in Shepherd, Coldspring & Livingston or First State Bank in Shepherd. We will only sell 300 tickets so get yours soon before you miss out on a great deal and a fun way to support the local scholarship fund.
