SJC County officials to be sworn-in
San Jacinto News- Times

COLDSPRING – Candidates winning their seats during the November General Election will be sworn into offi ce Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the San Jacinto County District Courtroom. In addition, a brief ceremony in honor of former San Jacinto County Criminal District Attorney Bill Burnett will also be held. A portrait of Burnett, who died at his residence June 1, following a short struggle with cancer, will be displayed in the district courtroom along with other portraits of former county offi cials and judges. County offi cials who will be sworn-in are: San Jacinto Criminal District Attorney Richard Countiss; County Judge Fritz Faulkner; District Clerk Becky Capers; County Clerk Angelia Steele; County Treasurer Angie Beard; Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Beth Sewell; Pct. 2 Commissioner Donnie Marrs; Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Red Blanchette; Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Randy Ellisor; Pct. 4 Commissioner Mark Nettuno and Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace Greg Magee. Refreshments will be provided in the courthouse rotunda following the ceremonies.
