Help needed in finding missing Shepherd man
San Jacinto News- Times - July 2008

SHEPHERD – San Jacinto County Sheriff Lacy Rogers is asking for help in solving the disappearance of a 67-year-old Shepherd man who went missing from his home around June 10. According to Rogers, Walter “Bo” Brawner is described as a 5-foot, 4- inch tall white male, weighing about 120 pounds with hazel eyes and gray, balding hair. “If anyone has any information about this case, please contact us at 936-653-4367,” Rogers said.

Rogers, along with a team from EquiSearch and members of the Shepherd Volunteer Fire Department have searched a wooded area in the Lake-Run-A-Muck area and around Brawner’s home located on McClain Street to no avail. “We imm e d i a t e l y s t a r t e d working the case when it was reported and have reason to believe there is a little more involved than just a missing person’s situation,” Rogers said. “We have a person of interest under investigation from the Shepherd area.”
