Thanksgiving dinner offered

COLDSPRING -- The Coldspring- Oakhurst High School National Honor Society invites the public to a free Thanksgiving Dinner Saturday in the COHS cafeteria. Serving is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Menu selections include turkey, ham, stuffi ng, cranberry sauce and assorted desserts. The dinner is offered as a community service of NHS. The COHS chapter conducts various community service projects throughout the school year including a fall and a spring blood drive. The group assisted the Federal Emergency Management Agency with its local response to Hurricane Ike relief efforts. In the past, it partnered with Habitat for Humanity in the construction of a new home. The COHS NHS is sponsored by chemistry teacher Gregory Mills
