Instruction for school assistants scheduled

COLDSPRING -- A Paraprofessional Academy for training public school instructional assistants is offered by the Coldspring- Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., December 11 and 12 in the COCISD Administration Building. The Academy is free of charge, but participants are requested to pre-register by December 10 with Candy Yeager, (936)653-1102. Upon successful completion of course material testing, participants will be certifi ed as “highly qualifi ed” Instructional Assistants and eligible for employment in Texas public schools.
