Shepherd Christmas parade planned

SHEPHERD -- The annual Christmas Parade sponsored by the Shepherd Chamber of Commerce will be on Saturday Dec. 6, and the theme this year is “Winter in the Woods.” The parade will begin at First Baptist Church and end at Shepherd Middle School since the high school gymnasium sustained damage during Hurricane Ike and will not be repaired in time. Santa will greet everyone at the end of the parade and everyone is invited to the Pirate’s traditional “Blue and White” Christmas Musical.
