County toy drive begins

COLDSPRING – The Toyz for Kidz program is beginning their Christmas toy drive and are requesting donations. The organization’s goal is to provide a helping hand for needy families in San Jacinto County. In 2010, your donations helped provide toys to over 400 children in San Jacinto County. Monetary and toy donations will be used to purchase toys to ensure that these families have a Merry Christmas. Donations may be mailed to San Jacinto County Toyz for Kidz, P.O. Box 703, Point Blank, Texas 77364. Donations of new and unwrapped toys are being accepted now through Friday, Dec. 9. Toys can be dropped off at county precinct offi ces, the sheriff’s offi ce or the county judge’s offi ce.
