Head Start celebrates

COLDSPRING – GETCAP Head Start will celebrate 44 years of Head Start excellence during the month of October, which has been designated as Head Start Month. The San Jacinto County GETCAP Head Start facility, located in Coldspring, will host a Community Resource Fair and Open House on Friday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., in honor of the event. A tour of the Coldspring facility will begin at 11:30 a.m. At noon the presentation of a proclamation and speakers will be heard, followed by refreshments. The public is invited. San Jacinto County Head Start is located at 941 Slade Street, Coldspring.
