COLDSPRING – San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Department is looking for information leading to the arrest of three armed suspects who robbed the Shell Station on Hwy. 150, Coldspring late Wednesday night. According to Sheriff James Walters, three black males wearing black clothing and bandanas entered the gas station by breaking through the glass door as three employees were attempting to close. “The armed suspects bound the store clerk and owners forcing them into the bathroom while they robbed the store,” Walters said. The store clerk was able to get free and called the sheriff’s department but no suspects were located. “All three males were described as young, with two of them having a thin build and one with a heavy build,” Walters said. “One employee who was injured by glass from the broken glass door was transported to a Cleveland emergency room where he was treated and released. “Detectives were called in immediately to begin their investigation and are following several leads,” Walters said. If you have any information about the robbery you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 653- TIPS (8477) or the sheriff’s department at 653-4367.
