Juvenile stabbed during graduation
SHEPHERD – A male juvenile victim was stabbed during a fight outside Pirate Stadium where graduation ceremonies for Shepherd High School's Class of 2013 were being held Friday, June 7. According to San Jacinto County Sheriff's Captain Tim Morgan, a male suspect was taken into custody almost immediately following the incident. Morgan said a verbal argument started between the two juveniles that escalated into a physical altercation when one of the males pulled out a knife and stabbed other male several times. "The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and later released," Morgan said. Morgan said the case has been released to the Shepherd Independent School District's Police Department for further investigation.
