COLDSPRING  --  New students to Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District may register for the 2007-2008 school year beginning this week at Street Elementary School and on Monday, August 13 at all other campuses.  The first day of school is Monday, August 27.
Parents are reminded that children eligible for kindergarten will have turned five-years-old on or before September 1, 2007.
Also, parents enrolling pre-kindergarten students must show proof of income for June and July 2007.
All students are required to have the following information to enroll:

1. certified birth certificate
2. social security card
3. immunization records, and
4. a copy of the parent’s driver’s license.

It is requested – when applicable – that students bring copies of their most recent report card and TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) results.
