No serious injuries reported in Shepherd ISD bus accident

SHEPHERD -- On Wednesday, November 21, Shepherd Independent School District’s Route 2 bus was involved in a one-vehicle accident. 
As a result of the accident, bus driver Marty May was taken to the hospital.  In addition, two students were transported by ambulance and one student was taken by a grandparent to the local hospital for observation, but their injuries appear to be minor. 
Superintendent Dozier, Board President Susan Bailes and several district administrators and staff members went to the scene to assist the emergency workers, and were especially appreciative of the work done by the Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department members.
