San Jacinto Newstimes - March 2008

COLDSPRING – Bees and honey will be the topic at the regular meeting of the Coldspring Garden Club scheduled Thursday, April 3, at 2 p.m. in the Coldspring Community Center. Guest speaker will be Carla and Don Rudebush from Rudy’s Honey in Livingston. The topic will be, “Bees To Honey.” The Coldspring Garden Club Plant Sale at the Coldspring Community Center will be held on Saturday, April 26. This is the same day as Trades Day in Coldspring, so it will be a fun day for the entire family. Don Leedy is Chairman for the plant sale. He may be contacted at 936-377-3946 if you have questions or if you have plants or seeds you’d like to donate for the plant sale. Proceeds from the sale are budgeted for charitable organizations in the community. Visitors or potential new members are welcome at any meeting. If you are interested in joining the Coldspring Garden Club, please contact Membership Chairman Gayle Currie at 936-377-2164 or President Lori Townsend at 936-377-3981.
