List of vendors grows for 61st fair

TRINITY – The list of vendors scheduled to take part in the 61st Annual Trinity Community Fair has been growing and will range from animal exhibits to food sales. The 2010 edition of the annual event is set for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 24-25 at the Trinity Community Center off Highway 19 South. There will be something for everyone at the event with a variety of vendors offering photography, face painting, swords, bungee jumping, a petting zoo, aprons, balloons, candles, dolls, jewelry, scrubbies, woodwork, purses, pet accessories, nail files and clippers, soaps, handmade linens and quilts, personalized lights and more. For those who work up an appetite, there will be food vendors for every taste and budget including jellies, jerky, popcorn, slushies, shaved ice, lemonade, hot dogs, nachos, barbecue, pulled pork sandwiches, sausage on a stick, boudan, beef and chicken fajitas, catfish, shrimp, hamburgers, turkey legs, ice cream, funnel cakes, pork chops on a stick, kabobs and baked potatoes. Many of these vendors and others have faithfully supported the fair over many years. The Trinity Community Fair Board issued a special thanks to the long-time vendors included Bob Sivia -- CB Concessions (The Funnel Cake Man), Ron Brown -- East Texas Sausage Co., ETMC Auxiliary, The VFW Post #6899, Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church, Risin Sun Cowboy Church, Trinity Lion’s Club, Bowen Pilgrim Church, Ann’s Lemonade, the American Legion, Trinity Police Department, Trinity Volunteer Fire Department, Trinity Mini Mall, The City of Trinity and the livestock buyers groups.
