Winter baseball clinic features Dallas Gallant
Trinity Standard -

TRINITY – Minnesota Twin’s pitcher Dallas Gallant, a 2007 graduate of Trinity High School, will be featured during the annual Winter Youth Baseball Clinic slated Dec. 29-30 at Trinity High School. Gallant, who currently pitches in the Twin’s farm system, was drafted by the professional baseball team earlier this year. In his senior year at THS, Gallant led the Tiger baseball team to the regional finals in the state playoffs. Gallant and THS Coach Terry James will instruct at the camp, which is open to boys and girls ages 6-12. Participants will receive instruction on the hitting and throwing phases of the game and will receive both personal and group lessons. The camp will begin at 9 a.m. and run until noon both days. On Wednesday, Dec. 29, the focus on the hitting phases of the game while lessons on Thursday, Dec. 29, will feature throwing skills. Those taking part in the camp have the option of attending one or both days. Cost of the clinic is $50 for two days. Those who attend on one day only will pay $30. The camp will be held at the Trinity Baseball Covered Hitting Facility located behind the high school. In the event of inclement weather, the camp will be held in the high school gym. Those wishing to attend should submit an application, a consent to treatment and a health form. Once the application has been verified and the fees have been paid, campers will receive an email notification of their acceptance.
