Circus coming to Trinity

Trinity Standard - January 2009

TRINITY – The circus is coming to town and the public is being invited to witness the spectacle.
The Trinity Peninsula Chamber of Commerce announced this week it has signed a contract to bring the Kelly Miller Circus based out of Hugo, Okla., back to Trinity.
The circus will roll into town on Tuesday, March 10, and the public will be invited to watch the animals being unloaded and fed, and the circus elephants raising the big top tent.
Activities will began at 7:30 a.m. and the tent will be raised at 9 a.m. It will be located on the old middle school football practice field located across Maple Street from Lansberry Elementary School.
Guides will be furnished for school groups and anyone attending.
The traditional “old style” circus will present two performances at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets will be available at area businesses in the coming weeks for $10 for adults and $6 for children.
Tickets sold at the door will be $14 for adults and $7 for children.
Pre-sale tickets will be available starting in February at Trinity Café, Trinity Medical Supply, State Farm Insurance, McMichael Enterprise Building, D.J.’s Gun Shop and the chamber office.
