Trinity Standard -
CROCKETT – Chance Jordan has been named the paramedic field supervisor for ETMC’s Emergency Medical Services in Trinity and Houston counties. Jordan, who has been employed by ETMC EMS since January 2009, will supervise 17 employees and be responsible for public relations efforts. In addition to the daily 911 calls made by the three ambulances serving the two counties, ETMC EMS also handles transfers to other hospitals, nursing homes and, under certain circumstances, residences. “I am honored to have been selected for the position of paramedic field supervisor for ETMC EMS in Houston and Trinity counties. I look forward to serving the community and continuing to deliver the finest emergency medical care possible,” Jordan said. A native of Grapeland, Jordan has been married to his wife, Kristy, for 16 years. They have a son, Conner, 10, and a daughter, Ashlie, 15. Jordan graduated from Grapeland High School in 1996 and has been a member of the Grapeland Volunteer Fire Department and EMS since 1998. He earned his EMT certification in 1999, and became a paramedic in 2010. He is the son of Houston County Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Ronnie Jordan and Houston County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Assistant Mary Jordan. In addition to the medical facilities in Trinity and Crockett, other ETMC facilities include hospitals in Athens, Carthage, Clarksville, Fairfield, Gilmer, Henderson, Jacksonville, Mount Vernon, Pittsburg, Quitman, Trinity and Tyler.
