THS/TMS registration slated Aug. 14-17
Trinity Standard -

TRINITY – Registration for new students enrolling in Trinity High School or Trinity Middle School will be held at the schools from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 14-17. Students entering 10th through 12th grades need to bring a transcript from their last school while students enrolling in the 7th through 9th grades need to bring a report card showing they have been promoted. In addition, all new students need to provide copies of their birth certificates, shot records and Social Security cards. A copy of a parent or guardian’s driver’s license also must be shown. Students registering must be prepared to prove their reside in the Trinity Independent School District. A copy of a utility bill or lease statement showing a physical address will meet this requirement. Parents who do not have a utility bill in their name will need a letter from the person from whom they are living or renting stating they reside at the address. The letter must be signed by the person they live with or rent from and be notarized. A copy of the utility bill must still be provided. If the person enrolling the student is not the custodial parent, proof of guardianship also must be presented. The proof must be in the form of a court order or power of attorney that has been notarized and filed with the Trinity County Clerk’s Office in Groveton.
