Apple Springs meth lab raided by TCSO officers
Trinity Standard -
GROVETON – A tip received by Trinity County Sheriff’s Office investigators led to a drug raid on an Apple Springs residence and the arrest of two out-of-county women. According to Sheriff Ralph Montemayor, investigators received information regarding a methamphetamine lab operating in the Apple Springs area on Tuesday, April 26 and immediately organized a raid. When officers arrives at the S.E. Tullos residence on Forest Road 590L, they discovered a camper that contained chemicals and ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamines. Arrested at the scene were Renee Ann Clark, 31, of Liberty, who was charged with possession of chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine, and Debbie Marie Dominey, 47, of Orange, who was charged with failure to identify herself. Dominey also was held on an outstanding arrest warrant issued in Orange County. Montemayor is asking county residents to watch for places that have an unusual amount of traffic coming in and out of neighbor-hoods, especially late at night. “Again, please mark your possessions and get serial numbers off items you own and keep in a safe place,” he added, noting that without means to identify items, it become very difficult to return stolen items to their owners once they have been recovered.
