MMA exhibition slated Nov. 19

TRINITY – Fans of mixed martial arts (MMA) are in for a treat when a 10-match exhibition comes to Trinity on Saturday, Nov. 19. Held as a fundraiser for the Trinity County Crime Stoppers program, the event will be held starting at 7 p.m. in the Trinity Community Fair Livestock Arena located at the Trinity Community Center off Highway 19 South. Promoter Chris “Buffalo” Rose of Deathrow MMA Productions is bringing the exhibition to Trinity featuring MMA fighte4rs from Huntsville, Cleveland, Conroe and Woodville. Jason David Frank from the television show “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” also is scheduled to appear. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. No alcohol or ice chests will be permitted in the arena but refreshments can be purchased on site. Smoking inside the building also will be prohibited due to the danger of fire. Due to the limited seating capacity, only 300 tickets will be sold. Tickets may be purchased from members of the Crime Stoppers organization.
