Methodist church hosts Harvest Dinner

TRINITY – A turkey dinner with all the trimming will be served during the annual Harvest Dinner fundraiser hosted by the First United Methodist Church on Thursday, Nov. 6.
In addition to turkey, the meal will include dressing, sweet potato casserole, green beans, homemade cranberry sauce and lots of desserts.
Cost of the meal is $10 for those over 10 and $5 for those between the ages of 5 and 10. Children under 5 will eat free.
Ladies from the church have already begun gathering to prepare and free the 45 sweet potato casserole that will be needed for the event. Many of the women are now baking cornbread and freezing it in preparation for making the dressing.
The 60 turkeys that will be cooked for the event also have arrived.
